As a Trade & Professional Education Trainee, you will play a key role in supporting marketing and educational initiatives that strengthen customer engagement and brand visibility in Portugal. This position offers hands-on experience in campaign execution, promotional material coordination, events & congress organization, and actively contribution to professional education programs. You will assist in developing training plans for customers, help create educational content with the Professional Education team to achieve overall goals aligned with the company´s strategy. You'll be part of the Trade & Professional Education team in Portugal based in Oeiras (Lisbon), receiving guidance and training while gaining increasing independence throughout the internship. Please note that the scope of this role is for 12 months. This opportunity is designed for graduates who want to develop their career in the optical sector, combining technical knowledge with experience in marketing and professional education development.
Main Responsibilities Ensure excellence in the execution of campaigns in Portugal. Review adaptations of materials and campaigns for the Portuguese market. Manage contact with promotional warehouse materials in Portugal. Ensure brand visibility in the Portuguese market. Handle administrative management of co-branded actions in the optical channel. Assist in the development of training plans for customers. Support the creation of educational content by the Professional Education team. Provide support in organizing congresses in Portugal. Assist professional, customer events in the offices and sales meetings. Collaborate with the international team in adapting corporate sustainability projects to the Iberian market.
Required Profile Degree in Optometry, a minimum prior experience as an optometrist will be positively valued. Training in marketing or similar. Interest in marketing and Professional Education. Strong organizational skills. Proactive and eager to learn. English and Spanish (written and spoken). High learning agility and self-motivation. Data analytics skills. Experience or knowledge of Excel, powerpoint and other analytical tools.
