Founded in 2016, One BioMed is a molecular life science company located in Singapore. We are at the forefront of innovation, transforming human health by accelerating the pace of biomedical research and testing. We are looking for dedicated Europe’s based candidates who love tackling new challenges and solving complex problems that transform human health. This is a remote and contract position.The RoleResponsibilities:   Oversee distributor relationships throughout the assigned territory.  Work with our distribution partners to develop cohesive tactical and strategic sales plans to meet or exceed sales targets. Work with Senior Management to evaluate sales channel efficiency throughout the region on an ongoing basis and make changes where appropriate.  Oversee new distributor onboarding as well as ongoing training for existing partners. Accurately forecast sales opportunities to management team through our CRM and other means. Conduct sales calls, seminars, workshops, and presentations for current and potential customers throughout the region in partnership with our distributors.  Work actively with our Field Application Scientist to ensure customer satisfaction.Represent One BioMed at scientific conferences.Work with various stakeholders to ensure training on and adoption of new products and applications throughout the region.Ideal ProfileSkills Required: :  Since this is a remote contract position, there will be no sponsorship given for employment and candidate MUST possess valid pass to work in Europe legally. Minimum of a bachelor's degree in a related science and may have an advanced degree, certification, or additional professional training Minimum 4+ years of relevant experience (in life science sales, distribution management, or other customer facing commercial roles)Strong working knowledge of the sales process (lead generation, quoting, purchasing, revenue recognition) as well as a good understanding of funnel management  Requires knowledge and understanding of Molecular Biology. Ideally possesses a working knowledge of the molecular biology/genomics marketplace, including Automated Nucleic Acid Extraction, Next Generation Sequencing, qPCR etc.  Ability to travel up to 70% as needed Ability to conduct technicalWhat's on Offer?     Tourism is travel for pleasure or business; also the theory and practice of touring, the business of attracting, accommodating, and entertaining tourists, and the business of operating tours. The World Tourism Organization defines tourism more generally, in terms which go "beyond the common perception of tourism as being limited to holiday activity only", as people "traveling to and staying in places outside their usual environment for not more than one consecutive year for leisure, business and other purposes". Tourism can be domestic or international, and international tourism has both incoming and outgoing implications on a country's balance of payments. Today, tourism is a major source of income for many countries, and affects the economy of both the source and host countries, in some cases being of vital importance. Tourism suffered as a result of a strong economic slowdown of the late-2000s recession, between the second half of 2008 and the end of 2009, and the outbreak of the H1N1 influenza virus, but slowly recovered. International tourism receipts (the travel item in the balance of payments) grew to US$1.03 trillion (€740 billion) in 2011, corresponding to an increase in real terms of 3.8% from 2010. International tourist arrivals surpassed the milestone of 1 billion tourists globally for the first time in 2012, emerging markets such as China, Russia and Brazil had significantly increased their spending over the previous decade.
