Job Title: SRE (Site Reliability Engineer)
Location: Lisbon, Portugal
Work Regime: Full-time & Hybrid (2x to 3x office days)
Overview / Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring high availability, reliability, and performance of our platforms, with a strong focus on observability, automation, and cloud-native technologies.
You will work closely with Dev Ops, development teams, and infrastructure teams to build, monitor, and maintain scalable systems.
Responsibilities and Tasks:
Implement, maintain and optimize observability platforms and practices
Manage and support ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana)
Design and operate container orchestration environments (Kubernetes)
Manage and monitor cloud infrastructure (AWS & Azure)
Develop automation scripts and tools using Python, Java, Bash, and Power Shell
Implement and maintain Kafka-based data pipelines
Deploy and maintain monitoring solutions (Prometheus)
Support infrastructure as code using Terraform and configuration management using Ansible
Integrate CI/CD processes with Git Hub and automation workflows
Ensure network and IT infrastructure reliability and security
Apply ITIL and Agile methodologies in daily operations
Requirements Mandatory Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Management Informatics, or related field
Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role, with strong focus on ELK stack
Experience in Dev Ops culture and practices
Experience in implementing and maintaining observability platforms
Experience in building and maintaining cloud service infrastructures
Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with:
Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana)
Kubernetes (K8s) and container orchestration, Kafka, Prometheus, N8 N, Ansible, Git Hub, Terraform
Proficiency in programming and scripting: Python, Java, Bash, Power Shell
Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure and networking
Solid understanding of cloud services and concepts (AWS and Azure)
Fluent Portuguese and English B2 level
Complementary Requirements: Kubernetes and Cloud Native Associate (KCNA)
