The Sr Associate in Process Excellence works to support all the capabilities within the ACCP, including Site Operations and GCO Capabilities. The Sr Associate will lead business process improvement projects, working with general direction and objectives to partner with capability leads and teams. This individual will gather important data to understand the current process, identify opportunities for improvement, lead root cause analysis, and lead or participate in process improvement. In leading improvements, the Sr Analyst will partner in setting objectives, establish project timelines, report on progress, and recognize and escalate problems. In addition to process improvement, the Sr Associate will support management with driving cross-functional initiatives that are key to delivering on the long-range vision of the Amgen Capability Center Portugal. This individual will work out of the Amgen Capability Center located in Lisbon, Portugal, and report directly to the Strategic Operations and Continuous Improvement Lead. A successful candidate will be comfortable working within manager’s guidance compiling information for leadership to make informed decisions and contributing to projects (long and short-term) and ad-hoc actions that synchronize and coordinate efforts across the various ACCP Capabilities.
