Profile:
- Experience in building and maintaining traditional infrastructure, including Linux and Windows servers, along with related security tools and services;
- Hands-on experience designing, building, and maintaining infrastructure services and applications on top of operating systems;
- Strong scripting skills with shell scripting, Bash, Power Shell or similar languages;
- Experience with configuration management and automation tools such as Terraform and Ansible;
- Familiarity with Microsoft services and tools, including Active Directory, DNS, SCCM, SCOM and Orchestrator is considered a plus;
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot incidents, identify root causes, implement fixes and document solutions;
- Effective leadership and cross-functional communication skills;
- Willingness to participate in on-call rotations, with a focus on automating processes to minimise manual interventions.
Responsibilities:
- Build, maintain and support traditional IT infrastructure, ensuring reliability, security and performance;
- Collaborate closely with technical leads, project managers, and architects to deliver infrastructure, services and applications;
- Automate infrastructure and operational processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual work;
- Troubleshoot incidents, perform root cause analysis, implement solutions and document preventive measures;
- Maintain and improve infrastructure services using configuration management and automation tools;
- Support Microsoft services and tools as required;
- Provide leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams on infrastructure-related matters.
