Job Description
Your contribution to something big:
As a Solutions Engineer for the ctrl X Device Portal, you support customers and partners in successfully adopting and using our digital services. Acting as a technical and solution-oriented interface, you help validate use cases, collect market feedback, and represent ctrl X AUTOMATION externally. Working closely with Product Management, R&D, Sales, and Business Development, you ensure customer insights are translated into impactful product enhancements.
Your responsibilities include:
Serving as the technical and solution contact for customers and partners of the ctrl X Device Portal
Conducting Proof of Concepts (Po Cs), demonstrations, and workshops to validate solutions and support onboarding
Representing Bosch Rexroth and ctrl X AUTOMATION at trade fairs, conferences, and customer engagements
Collecting, documenting, and structuring customer requirements, feedback, and use cases
Collaborating with Product Owner/Product Management and R&D to translate market needs into technical specifications and product improvements
Supporting Sales and Business Development during pre-sales activities and customer evaluations
Contributing to knowledge sharing and documentation, including application notes, best practices, and success stories Qualifications
What distinguishes you:
Education
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field
Experience
3–5 years of experience in a customer-facing technical role (e.g. Solutions Engineer, Application Engineer, Technical Consultant, Pre-Sales Engineer)
Experience with Bosch Rexroth ctrl X AUTOMATION or comparable automation platforms is an advantage
Know-how
Strong understanding of industrial automation, IIo T, and digital service platforms
Languages
Excellent English communication and presentation skills. German is a plus, but not required
Working Style & Personality
High level of self-motivation and customer orientation. Willingness to travel several times per year
