About the role: Intermedia is looking for a talented and energetic Java Developer with experience deploying and building microservices to join our team, building applications and tools to support a fast-growing UCaa S company.
You will be a member of the Voice team, helping to extend and enhance our award-winning Saa S Vo IP product and its OSS and BSS.
You will play a crucial role in helping to solve challenging technical problems and developing solutions that will directly impact our business and its customers.
What you will be doing: Green Field project to move functionalities from an existing legacy system to a new Microservices architecture: Design, Document, Develop and Maintain the new architecture Coordinate and work with QE regarding testing strategies and CI Pipelines Coordinate and work with Dev Ops to set up Continuous Deployment and Observability You will have significant opportunities to contribute to the design and architecture of the system as well as help facilitate technical decisions What you will bring to the role: Bachelor or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent related work experience 3+ years as a Backend Developer with proven experience with Java 8 or greater CI/CD Pipeline experience Experience with container-based development (Kubernetes, Docker) Experience working in a UNIX/Linux environment Strong knowledge of Git version control System (Git Lab, Bitbucket, etc) Hands-on experience writing clean and testable code (unit testing) Ability to understand someone else's code Good analytical skills Outstanding communication skills (English), proactive, problem solver, team player Desired Qualifications Working experience with JEE6/7/8 technologies Understanding of SOA and Microservices architectures and design patterns Web Services development experience with REST, SOAP (ex: JAX-RS, JAX-WS, XML/XSL/XSLT) Experience with Spring framework/Spring Boot Knowledge of Kafka or other distributed streaming system Working experience with Oracle, My SQL, or Microsoft SQL Server Experience with Liquibase Knowledge of LDAP Knowledge of No SQL technologies Knowledge of Argo CD Knowledge of Sonar Qube Experience with Python
