Key Responsibilities:
Integrated Solution Architecture & Implementation: Design, develop, configure, and customize complex solutions using Power BI (reports, dashboards, datasets), Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power Query. You will ensure seamless integration of these solutions into our existing data and application landscape, creating a unified and powerful operational fabric.
Data Fabric Integration & Modeling: Optimize our data architecture by integrating diverse data sources, including Snowflake, and craft efficient data models. You will leverage the capabilities of Microsoft Fabric to build a robust and scalable data foundation, ensuring a reliable and performant data fabric that underpins accurate, actionable analysis and supports advanced analytics.
Performance, Scalability & User Experience: Develop user-centric solutions focused on operational efficiency, scalability, and superior user experiences. You will ensure these solutions are well-integrated into our broader digital environment and contribute to a cohesive user journey.
Advanced DAX & SQL Proficiency: Master DAX for complex calculations and advanced data modeling within Power BI. You will also apply expert-level SQL for efficient data integration, querying, and performance optimization.
Solution Design & Technical Specification: Apply a strong understanding of architectural design principles to translate complex business requirements into clear, robust technical specifications and scalable solutions that fit within our digital ecosystem.
Data Analytics Backend Collaboration: Collaborate strategically with Data Architects and the SI Data Cloud teams, aligning on overarching data analytic concepts and architecture to continuously elevate the SI Data Cloud platform.
Internal Consulting: Act as a vital internal consultant for incoming data-driven use cases across our portfolios, working hand-in-hand with Dev Ops teams to ensure the seamless implementation and deployment of new solutions.
Data Quality: Establish and enforce comprehensive data quality frameworks, including automated validation, cleaning, and anomaly detection to maintain high data accuracy and consistency.
ELT/ETL Processes: Lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable ELT/ETL processes to prepare data for advanced analytics and reporting.
Data Transformation: Transform raw, complex data into structured, business-ready formats suitable for various analytical applications.
Technical Skills & Expertise:
Microsoft Power Platform & Analytics Development: Proven ability to independently design, develop, configure, and customize complex solutions using Power BI (reports, dashboards, datasets), Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power Query.
Data Fabric Architecture & Optimization: Deep expertise in structuring and optimizing data models, integrating diverse data sources (including Snowflake), and leveraging the capabilities of Microsoft Fabric to build a robust and scalable data foundation.
Advanced DAX & SQL Proficiency: Mastery of DAX for complex calculations and advanced data modeling within Power BI, coupled with expert-level SQL for efficient data integration, querying, and performance optimization.
Data Warehousing: Experience in Snowflake design, implementation, and optimization.
Data Transformation: Proficiency with dbt (data build tool) for data modeling, pipeline development, and quality assurance is a plus.
Database & Querying: Expert SQL skills for complex data manipulation, schema design, and performance tuning; experience with various database management systems.
Data Quality: Strong capabilities in data validation, cleaning, and anomaly resolution.
General Competencies:
Agile Methodologies & Quality Assurance: Practical experience with agile development methodologies, including testing strategies and quality assurance processes.
Self-Management & Problem-Solving: Demonstrated strong self-management, proactive problem-solving skills, and the ability to independently drive tasks to completion.
Communication & Collaboration: Excellent communication skills, both technical and non-technical, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders and team members.
English Fluency: Mandatory fluency in English for effective communication in a global environment.
