Inno Wave is looking for a dynamic, agile person, with good communication skills, high work capacity and a great desire to learn, with availability to come to our office in Lisbon STB QA Engineer Responsibilities Perform end-to-end manual testing of STB and OTT platforms, including functional, UI, and regression testing.
Validate firmware updates, integrations, and application behavior across multiple environments.
Prepare detailed test plans, test cases, and defect reports in alignment with project requirements.
Work closely with developers, product managers, and clients to reproduce, analyze, and resolve issues.
Engage directly with clients to provide updates, gather feedback, and ensure smooth delivery of QA milestones.
Utilize Youbora and Open Search tools for analytics, monitoring, and debugging test results.
Support firmware validation and perform compatibility checks across devices and versions.
Contribute to QA process improvement and best practices within the project team.
Skills Degree in Informatics Engineering, Computer Science or similar areas3–5 years of experience in Manual Testing within STB and OTT domains.
Strong understanding of QA methodologies, test case design, and defect tracking tools.
Experience working with Youbora and Open Search for log analysis and performance insights.
Good knowledge of Firmware testing and device-level validations.
Excellent communication skills with proven ability to engage effectively with clients and cross-functional teams.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with attention to detail.
Fluent in English - written and spoken (mandatory).
