Role Description

We are seeking an
exceptional Portuguese Language Instructor

This is a
full-time on-site
role located in
Lisbon, Portugal
. The Portuguese Language Instructor will be responsible for teaching students from diverse backgrounds, planning lessons, and providing personalized language coaching. The instructor will also facilitate small-group classes and engage students in real-life conversational experiences to enhance their language skills.

Key Responsibilities

Teach
European Portuguese
to adult learners at all CEFR levels (
A1–C2
).
Prepare students for the
CIPLE exam
and other proficiency benchmarks.
Deliver engaging, immersive lessons that integrate real-world Portuguese experiences.
Provide
personalized coaching
and support to help students achieve fluency.
Collaborate with a team of passionate educators to refine and evolve our methodology.

Qualifications
Proven experience teaching
Portuguese from Portugal

as a second language to
adult learners

.
- Deep understanding of
CEFR levels

, especially A1–C2 progression and exam preparation.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- A passion for
language, culture, and community

.
- Ability to engage students and create a dynamic learning environment
- Ability to adapt to both
in-person and online teaching environments

- Bachelor's degree in Language, Education, or related field
- Relevant
teaching certifications
or academic background in language education or linguistics (preferred).
