Workplace: Lisbon (Hybrid)
Role: Support development teams in the technical analysis of i Series applications;
Participate in the coordination and follow-up of technical upgrades to i Series infrastructures;
Perform performance analysis of i Series applications, particularly the GIS application;
Troubleshoot application and/or system errors in collaboration with development and/or infrastructure teams.
Profile: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field;
Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in similar roles;
Experience with Rational Development for i, XML, Java, and HTML;
Solid knowledge of RPGLE (Procedures, Service Programs);
Good ability to read and interpret code in RPGLE, RPG Free, CLLE, and embedded SQL in RPG;
Good knowledge of i Series IFS and FTP;
Solid knowledge of multithreading in i Series (e.g., Data Queues);
Knowledge of basic i Series system administration commands;
Knowledge of i Series HTTP services and MQSeries;
Good knowledge of SQL (creation of Functions and Stored Procedures) and SQL indexing on i Series;
Good knowledge of DB2 on AS400;
Solid knowledge of Web Services;
Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and critical thinking;
Good communication skills and ability to work in a team;
Strong sense of responsibility, proactivity, and autonomy.
