Job Offer: Production Manager / Production Follow-up & Designer

We are a studio specialized in design, architecture, craftsmanship, dedicated to creating unique pieces and promoting exceptional artisanal work.
Position: Production Manager / Production Follow-up & Designer
Contract type: Permanent / Freelance
Location: Porto, Portugal (travel may be required)
Main Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate production with our artisan partners (furniture, objects, etc.).
- Read, create, and adjust technical drawings and production plans.
- Manage production schedules and coordinate all stages up to final delivery.
- Act as a liaison between the creative team, production workshops, and clients.
- Perform quality control on produced pieces.
- Monitor deadlines, manage production costs, and ensure compliance with specifications.
Profile:
- Degree in Design, Interior Architecture, or a related field.
- Strong skills in reading and creating technical drawings.
- Ability to communicate effectively with artisans, understand technical constraints, and propose practical solutions.
- Highly organized, autonomous, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Sensitivity to craftsmanship, materials, and custom-made production.
- Valid driver's license required (travel to production sites).
Technical Skills Required:
- Rhino for 3 D modeling.
- Archicad or Autocad for technical drawing production.
- Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, In Design) for presentations, layouts, and graphic renderings.
- Good general knowledge of materials (wood, metal, ceramics, textiles, etc.).
Languages:
- Fluent English is mandatory.
- Portuguese is a strong advantage.
Salary:
- Contract: 1300-1500 eur gross
- Freelance: 65-80 eur/day
