Android Developer (Kotlin) - Full Remote (6-Month Contract)
About the project:
We are looking for an Android Developer to join our global team on a 100% remote project. If you have experience in Mobile development with Kotlin/Swift and enjoy working in agile environments (Scrum), we'd love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities
Designing and developing solutions with the team, following development processes (like TDD, BDD, code reviews, etc.)
Enhancing and optimizing the platform's ability to generate high-quality code for Android and i OS
Designing and implementing features that simplify complex mobile development tasks for Out Systems developers
Contributing to the open-source Capacitor framework, including bug fixes, feature development, and performance optimizations
Producing and testing code in short cycles, with a high degree of automation
Gathering feedback from end-users and adapting solutions accordingly
Focusing on developing maintainable solutions that scale to thousands of users
Applying product development best practices, continuous delivery, and testing
Providing last-line troubleshooting of complex incidents created by solutions developed by your team, including on-call support rotation
Qualifications / What You Need To Succeed
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or similar (equivalent experience considered)
4+ years of software development experience
Knowledge of software engineering principles, algorithms, data structures, and Object-Oriented Design
Passion for analyzing and designing elegant solutions for high-tech problems
Strong troubleshooting skills
Experience with continuous delivery and testing techniques
Drive to innovate and incorporate development best practices
Interest in emerging technologies and frameworks
Good communication skills and fluency in English
High level of autonomy
Availability to participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation
Experience developing developer tools, SDKs, or libraries for mobile platforms
Strong proficiency in Android (Java, Kotlin) or i OS (Swift, Objective-C) development
Experience with Capacitor or similar cross-platform frameworks (a strong plus)
Contributions to open-source projects or frameworks (a plus)
