OFFER DESCRIPTION 1 - TitleRESEARCH FELLOWSHIP (RF)2 - Offer descriptionAs per the terms laid down in – FCT (FCT – Foundation for Science and Technology - Regulations for Studentships and Fellowships), and in light of the application of the Statute of the Research Fellow, approved by , 18th August, as it stands, we announce the launching of a call for awarding a research fellowship (RF), in the framework of the project “AGREEMAR - Adaptive agreements on benefits sharing for managed aquifer recharge in the Mediterranean region”.3 – Financing sourcesPRIMA Program and the budget of FCT – Foundation for Science and Technology4 – Scientific areaGeology / Hydrogeology5 - DurationThe Grant shall be awarded for a 1 year period, renewable up to 32 months.6 – Reserve listA reserve list for selection shall be drawn up for a 6-month period as from the date of the final decision of this call.7 – Activity RegimeAll the work shall be developed on an exclusive dedication regime, as per the provisions laid down in the Statute of the Research Fellow, approved by Law no. 40/2004, 18 august, as it stands, and in the FCT Regulations for Studentships and Fellowships, which can be consulted on FCT and LNEC websites.8 - Work plan and objectivesThe research fellow will participate in several R&D activities within the framework of the project, more specifically in the mathematical modelling component of the quantitative and qualitative processes of Managed Aquifer Recharge, at the local and regional scales. The fellow will participate in the involvement of stakeholders in the use of these models to understand the benefits, for the management of water and the environment, of the integration of nature-based solutions in its procedures as well as in the Programs of Measures of the River Basin Management Plans (RBMP).9 - LocationWorkplace: LNEC – National Laboratory for Civil Engineering, do Brasil, 101 – 1700-066 LisboaPaís: PortugalWebsite: 10 - QualificationsGraduates (4 years) or MSc degree in Geology, Geological Engineering, Mining Engineering and Environmental Engineering or similar, with enrolment in a PhD program in the area of expertise of Hydrogeology or similar.
