Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)

About the role
You’ll be joining our Engineering team and you will be involved in different products.
Your mission:
- Actively manages and escalates risk and customer-impacting issues within the day-to-day role to management.
- Analyse, design, develop, and execute automation scripts using open-source tools.
- Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
- Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
- Estimate, prioritise, plan, and coordinate testing activities.
- Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs.
- Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
- Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs.
- Liaise with internal teams (e.g., developers and product managers) to identify system requirements.
- Investigate the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions.
About you
- 5+ years of experience in software testing, with at least 3+ years in test automation.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
- Hands-on experience with API testing tools (Postman, Rest Assured, Karate, etc.).
- Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Familiarity with performance testing tools (JMeter, Gatling, k6) is a plus.
- Experience with containerisation and microservices testing using Docker & Kubernetes is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Excellent communication skills (English) written and spoken.
