Ocean Infinity is seeking a Senior Business Analyst. The successful application will be responsible for acting as a bridge between business needs and technical solutions. This role involves analysing complex business problems, identifying opportunities for improvement, and delivering actionable insights and requirements to support organizational goals. The Senior BA will lead projects, mentor junior analysts, and collaborate with stakeholders across departments to ensure successful delivery of initiatives.

What will you do:

• Contribute to the development of business cases, identifying value and benefits associated with prospective initiatives;
• Elicit, document, and analyse business requirements through interviews, workshops, and observation;
• Translate business needs into clear, concise, and actionable functional and non-functional requirements;
• Conduct gap analysis to identify discrepancies between current processes and desired outcomes;
• Act as a liaison between business units, technical teams, and senior management;
• Facilitate meetings and workshops to align stakeholders on project goals and deliverables;
• Present findings, recommendations, and project updates to diverse audiences;
• Design and document business processes, workflows, and systems using industry-standard tools (e.g. Visio, BPMN, UML);
• Identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, or innovation;
• Support the implementation of process changes and monitor their effectiveness;
• Analyse data to uncover trends, insights, and support decision-making;
• Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, or KPIs to track performance metrics;
• Ensure data integrity and alignment with business objectives.

Who you are:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Finance, or a related field;
• Experience: 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead role;
• Proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Office Suite, Visio, Jira, Confluence, or similar;
• Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall methodologies;
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse stakeholders;
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities;
• Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality work;
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment;
• Proactive and adaptable to changing business needs.
• Experience in the Marine industry;
• Experience with data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI) is a plus;
• Leadership and mentoring capabilities.

Salary for this position: Up to €50,000 per annum

Salary: The salary varies for this position as we are recruiting in multiple regional locations and job grades. The salary process is based on skills, abilities, and experience required.
