You have the opportunity to form part of this team by contributing to the success of SaltPay’s IT projects as they are rolled out across the company.Your mission:We are looking for a self-driven, skilled, and dedicated project manager to join the SaltPay IT Project Management Office.You will be responsible for leading IT projects that include understanding needs, creating a plan, serving as a liaison, and ensuring results. You will have to be comfortable with communicating progress, feedback, and changes to all relevant stakeholders.This is an incredible opportunity to be part of a multi-functional, challenging, and fast-paced environment with a high-performance team on a mission to support the explosive growth in a sustainable and efficient way. You will be comfortable working under pressure without sacrificing quality, managing many projects, and streamlining operations.The ideal candidate will have production experience especially with agile environments, as well as strong work plan development and progress oversight skills. You will be expected to prepare and present progress updates to appropriate management channels on a regular basis, ensuring the innovation we seek is being achieved. As a project manager, your job will be to coordinate people and processes to ensure that our projects are delivered on time and produce the desired results. You will be the go-to person for everything involving a project’s organisation and timeline.Your main responsibilities:Ensure that all IT projects are deliveredon time, within the scope, and within budget.Establish and maintain processes to manage scope over the project lifecycle, adhering to project quality and performance standards.Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant internal stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility. Obtain customer acceptance of project deliverables.Assessing and managing risk within, and across, multiple projects.Coordinating with cross-discipline team members to make sure that all parties are on track with project requirements, deadlines, and schedules of multiple projects.Engaging with the wider business functions to build a strong relationship between the delivery teams and their internal customersEnsure resource availability and allocation. Monitor and assign resources appropriately to streamline project efficiency and maximise deliverable outputs.Manage and facilitate changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.Manage the implementation of IT projects relating to a company's software, hardware, networks, or other IT systems.Provide project updates and status reports on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress.Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques to analyse the successful completion of short and long-term goals.Conduct post-project evaluation and identify successful and unsuccessful project elements. Feedback to PMO team. Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in time.Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including spreadsheets, diagrams, and process maps to document needs and deliverables. This may also include setting up and coordinating systems, policies, and procedures.Ability to educate and coach project members to develop frameworks and methodologies to help manage similar projects in the future.Develop and maintain partnerships with outside resources—including third-party vendors and suppliers where requiredYour story:Given the versatile nature of the role, we’re looking for someone who has the experience, enjoys getting things done, is comfortable with ambiguity, and is a self-starter.
