We're Hiring: Senior Data Analyst | Porto (Hybrid)
Are you ready to take part in data-driven transformation within the Corporate & Investment Banking world? Join us as a Senior Data Analyst to support a major client on key finance and data management initiatives.
About the role
You will play a central role in improving data quality, reporting capabilities, and analytical frameworks that support decision-making across finance departments. Working closely with both business and IT teams, you’ll help ensure that data is accurate, accessible, and used to its fullest potential.
What you’ll do:
- Analyze, clean, and structure data to support finance operations
- Build and maintain BI dashboards and reports (Power BI, Tableau)
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify needs and propose automation solutions
- Apply statistical models and advanced data techniques
- Support IT-led initiatives by contributing to data architecture and governance
- Promote best practices in data visualization and reporting
Key Projects:
- Financial data quality & integrity optimization
- Cross-team data reporting improvements
- Automation and visualization of finance indicators
- Support regulatory and internal audit requirements through data
Technical Skills:
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst in the banking sector , ideally within CIB
- Proficiency with Power BI , Tableau , SQL , DAX , M , and Python
- Strong knowledge of data modeling , data manipulation , and predictive analysis
- Experience working on IT/data projects in a complex environment
Language Skills:
- Fluency in English (mandatory)
- Other languages are a plus
Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills across business and technical teams
- Ability to formalize complex subjects clearly and concisely
- Comfortable working in an international, fast-paced setting
