Your Role
The

Logistics Manager – Purchasing & Inventory

plays a key role in the company’s industrial and financial performance. He/she ensures the availability of parts, the reliability of inventory, and the smooth flow of logistics operations, while meeting deadlines and quality requirements.

Your Missions
1. Inventory and Logistics Flow Management
Supervise goods receipt and dispatch, as well as internal movements.
Monitor stock levels, reorder points, and economic order quantities.
Evaluate inventory value (weighted average price, monthly valuation).
Organize and participate in annual and interim inventories.
Maintain and ensure the reliability of the item database (references, prices, lead times).
Optimize the organization of picking and storage areas.
Ensure compliance and safety of storage zones.

2. Spare Parts Purchasing and Supplier Management
Source suppliers, request quotes, analyze offers, and select vendors.
Negotiate purchasing conditions: quality, price, lead time, profitability.
Renegotiate annual framework agreements with subcontractors.
Verify delivery compliance and quality documentation.
Validate supplier invoices in coordination with the accounting department.

3. Warehouse Team Management
Supervise a team of 4 people.
Organize daily operations, set priorities, and provide operational support.
Monitor performance indicators (preparation lead times, error rates, productivity).
Continuously improve processes, safety, and working conditions.

Profile
Education : Engineering degree with a generalist or mechanical focus.
Experience : Minimum 5 years in purchasing and inventory management, ideally with initial managerial experience.
Skills : Proficient in IT tools and inventory management software (ideally SAP, SAGE, and GED). Fluent in English (written and spoken). Valid driver’s license required.
Soft Skills : Beyond technical skills, we are looking for a curious, organized, solution-oriented, autonomous, and proactive individual, capable of adapting to a dynamic and demanding SME environment.

Job Conditions
Contract type : Permanent – Full-time
Location : Rio Meão, Santa Maria da Feira, with occasional travel in Europe (1–2 times per year)
Availability : Position to be filled as soon as possible
Salary : Based on profile and experience
Remote work : 1 day per week
Benefits : Meal voucher: €7.60 and health insurance
