With a deep and broad pipeline of potential new medicines, Amgen remains committed to advancingscience to dramatically improve people's lives.Senior Associate Law LIVEWHAT YOU WILL DOWe are looking for a Senior Associate Law to join our dynamic team in our Amgen Capability Center Portugal (ACCP) based in Lisbon, Portugal.The Senior Associate Law will assist with the day-to-day management of legal matters associated with Amgen’s operations in a group of countries. This dynamic position will provide broad-based legal support services to Amgen’s commercial, medical and related business functions in a group of countries.Provide legal advice on commercial matters to ensure that the operations of Amgen’s affiliates in multiple countries are conducted within the limits prescribed by law and local industry regulations.Assist in the negotiation and drafting of all contractual engagements, including HCPs and service provider agreements.Provide advice, guidance and support to Amgen affiliates on matters related to clinical activities, corporate law, data privacy, and other relevant legal areas.Maintain awareness of applicable laws and regulations in relevant countries and keep current with changes that may affect the relevant affiliate’s operations.Carry out a review of promotional and non-promotional material for compliance with applicable laws, regulations and/or industry codes of compliance.Build and maintain close contacts and relationships with relevant affiliates’ stakeholders and other advisers (e.g. local legal support, compliance, privacy etc.).WINWHAT WE EXPECT OF YOU: Essential QualificationsQualified lawyer with a European OR common law background.Proficiency in business English and/or French/Italian/Spanish. Preferred Qualifications2 plus years of legal practice at a law firm and/or experience working in a legal department of a company in a regulated industry.Experience in the life sciences sector is a plus.
