Ability to identify and resolve issues related to system configuration and business operations.
Effective communication skills to liaise between technical (IT) and non-technical (BU) teams, ensuring a clear understanding of business requirements, successful implementation, and ongoing maintenance of processes within the system.
Strong communication and presentation skills to ensure that end user understand the resolution of incidents and the correct execution of processes.
GL/ CO:
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial closing processes, including month-end, quarter-end, and year-end activities.
Deep understanding of the integration between FI and CO, including reconciliation processes and data flows in SAP S4 HANA.
Experience with parallel accounting, ledger approach, and handling of multiple currencies (e.g., group currency, local currency).
Experience with intercompany processes, eliminations, and reconciliation.
Experience with integration to other modules, such as Controlling (CO), Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR).
Familiarity with GAAP and deep knowledge in IFRS standards.
Knowledge and experience with GL (General Ledger) and CO (Controlling) processes in SAP.
Methodological skills to design and implement a new Chart of Accounts considering global and local requirements.
Ability to define a methodical concept for Controlling in S4 HANA.
Expertise in configuring and customizing general ledger and Controlling module, financial statements, and reporting in SAP ECC and S4 HANA.
Expertise in Financial Closing Cockpit and S4 HANA Advanced Financial Closing, Accruals Management and other GL related functionalities.
Experience with SAP Fiori Apps and knowledge of main Apps for GL & CO processes.
Main tasks (starting in 2025, to be continued in 2026):
Creation of a new Template Chart of Account (methodology, GL Account structure) with documentation of GL Account settings, business use cases, posting logic, etc.
Customizing of General Ledger Module in S4 HANA incl. System documentation.
Implementation of Financial Statement Versions (Template and Local).
Definition of Controlling processes in S4 HANA in close collaboration with Controlling team and General Ledger consultant.
Customizing of Controlling Module in S4 HANA incl. System documentation.
Support in Fit to Standard Workshops, documentation of deltas, creation of functional concepts.
Configuration of Advanced Financial Closing Cockpit in S4 HANA based on current Financial.
Closing Cockpit in SAP ECC system; Support in further Rollout of Financial Closing Cockpit in SAP ECC.
Definition of template process and configuration of Accrual Management.
Creation of a Migration concept from current Chart of Account in SAP ECC to new Chart of Account in SAP S4 HANA considering Controlling aspects.
Testing and validation, including definition of test plans and cases, execution, and documentation of functional tests.
Definition of test plans and cases, execution and documentation of functional tests.
Creation of Training materials, performance of user trainings.
