The Role
You will be part of a market-leading practice handling high-profile domestic and international litigation and arbitration matters. This is a unique opportunity to work alongside top-ranked partners and a team of specialists advising major corporates, financial institutions, and sovereign entities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advising clients on all aspects of dispute resolution including litigation, international arbitration, and pre-contentious strategic risk management.
- Representing clients in Portuguese and international courts and tribunals.
- Drafting and reviewing pleadings, legal opinions, and procedural documents.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues across jurisdictions in cross-border matters.
Requirements:
- Portuguese qualified lawyer with 1 to 4 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in litigation and/or arbitration.
- Experience at a reputable law firm, ideally in a structured and international environment.
- Fluent in both Portuguese and English (spoken and written).
- Strong academic background and excellent legal drafting skills.
- Commercially aware, with strong analytical, communication, and teamworking abilities.
