We are currently looking for a Contracting Manager for our Portuguese market, based in Portugal.
The purpose of the role is to manage a portfolio of suppliers, analyze the market, purchase, and renew contracts for the assigned destination/product, ensuring its competitiveness and maximizing sales and profitability.
- Develop and establish relationships with suppliers in their portfolio, negotiate the best possible conditions, and ensure suppliers understand our value proposition and tools to maximize their performance and competitiveness in B2 B.
- Enhance the assigned portfolio with new properties with high demand, sourcing new products in the assigned geography.
- Perform online analysis of prices and quality, manage the contracting and renewal process end-to-end, ensuring all contracts meet internal standards and compliance requirements.
- Manage suppliers effectively, acting as the main point of contact within the region for all commercial matters, contracts, promos, and amendments.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure suppliers meet health and safety requirements.
Accountabilities:
- Sign the most competitive rates for Jumb Online clients in B2 B and B2 A environments.
- Monitor supplier performance, working closely with the pricing team to ensure competitiveness and availability.
- Ensure suppliers understand how the partnership with Jumb Online can lead to mutual success and revenue optimization.
Requirements & Experience:
- Strong influencing and negotiation skills, with a proven ability to build and maintain successful long-term relationships with suppliers.
- Experience delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills in Portuguese and English; Spanish is a plus.
- Solid experience (3+ years) and knowledge of the travel & hospitality industries, key competitors, industry issues, and related technology.
