Major Responsabilities:
- Overachieve Year over Year Cost Savings target for the respective commodity
- Execute sourcing process from RFQ to Contract / PO release having full allignment with the different functions involved including Global Commodity Management team.
- Ensure sourcing metrics are met including project cost targets, year over year performance, business incentives transformed into sustainable savings, payment terms, incoterms.
- Work as an extension of the Global Commodity Management team communicating closely all the plant requirements to deliver and execute robust commodity management strategies.
- Continuous benchmark of the commodity ensure to ensure most competitive landed cost on the market place using cost breakdowns, raw material economics evolution studies, cost modeling tools, supplier suggestions and multifunction cost savings workshops.
- Manage and lead supplier relationships with excellence enabling supplier success in achieving our cost savings targets and drive continous impovement.
- Manage QVC (Quality, Volume & Cost) requirements for each Sourcing including volume extension, volume up-lift and capacity implementation.
- Act as point of escalation on supplier shortages, quality issues and negotiate respective cost claims with suppliers
- Work closely with Program Launch Buyer, Supplier Quality and Engineering during the sourcing process being part of project reviews and technical review with suppliers to understand in depth the project status, supplier process technology and challenges
- Comply with all policies & procedures in place for the given job role and sourcing process.
