Our client is a global pharmaceutical company based in London with key operations in Portugal. The company focusses on manufacturing branded and non-branded generic pharmaceutical products and delivering these around the globe.
The Opportunity
A new opportunity now exists to be a Legal Counsel with the business and part of the global legal team, with this role being based in Portugal, in an office just outside Lisbon.
In this role, you will assist the global legal team in supporting European operations, working on a range commercial legal matters, supporting manufacturing (particularly in Portugal) and working on corporate and governance matters.
You will have responsibility for a wide range of complex commercial contracts, particularly for the European business, as well as advising on trading terms and European procurement.
About You
This is an excellent opportunity for a Corporate or Commercial Lawyer to join a market leading business in a new role for the global legal team. You may be a lawyer in private practice looking for an in-house opportunity, or you may already have in-house experience and be looking for a new challenge.
Business fluency in English is essential.
