Assistant Executive Housekeeper (M/F) - Pestana Porto Covo Village

The Pestana Hotel Group is the largest Portuguese hotel group having 100 hotels in 16 countries across three continents.

We are currently seeking for a passionate and experienced Assistant Executive Housekeeper to support the housekeeping operation@Pestana Porto Covo Village,

Key Responsibilities:
· Responsible for cleanliness, orderliness and appearance of the entire Hotel

· Ensure that rooms are made as per company standard.

· Maintain par stock of guest supplies, cleaning supplies, linen and uniform.

· Organise inventories with accounts and General Store for linen, uniform, and fixed assets

· Develop and implement housekeeping systems and procedures

· Prepare reports for management information.

· Assist Purchase department in selecting suppliers for items related to Housekeeping.

· Attending and resolving guest complaints.

· Verification of supplies consignments.

· Organise on-the job training and evaluate its effectiveness.

Key Requirements:
· A minimum of 3 years of experience as an Executive Housekeeper or similar.

· Proficient in Opera software

· Good understanding of procedures and practices in the hospitality industry.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Strong organisational and time management skills.

· Good leadership and training abilities.
