Java Tech Lead

The International Mobility Recruitment Department is dedicated to enhancing the mobility of IT professionals throughout Europe, facilitating the placement of talents in the various markets where it operates.

Position : JAVA TECH LEAD

Location : Lisbon

Hybrid: 2 times a week on the client´s office

Candidates must possess a valid work permit for Portugal

Mandatory Languages Required: French (minimum B2) and English (minimum B2)

We’re looking for a Java Tech Lead to guide a development team in building scalable and high-performance applications. You’ll work hands-on with modern technologies and ensure best practices are followed throughout the development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead a team of developers, ensuring code quality and on-time delivery
Design and develop backend systems with Java 11, Spring Boot, and Hibernate
Collaborate with front-end developers using Angular
Work with My SQL for database design and optimization
Participate in architecture discussions and help shape technical direction
Support and mentor team members

Requirements:
Strong experience in Java 11, Spring Boot, Hibernate
Solid front-end knowledge with Angular
Good understanding of relational databases, especially My SQL
Experience leading teams or acting as a senior developer
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Nice to have: Experience with cloud services and CI/CD pipelines
