With a strong interest in software development, your primary responsibility will be to design and build software aligned with Kuehne+Nagel’s strategic objectives. This role covers the full development lifecycle, including initial design, coding, testing, and implementation. How you create impact
Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and implementation to demonstrations and final product delivery.
Actively contribute as a member of the product team, identifying and proposing improvements to enhance the development process.
Develop internal digital products using Java and Angular, writing clean, high-quality code and taking ownership of software quality and long-term maintainability.
Collaborate on the definition, specification, and design of modular, integrated software solutions, and design and implement automated tests to ensure reliability.
Support the continuous improvement of development processes and tools.
What we would like you to bring
Experience working in small to medium-sized software development teams within an agile environment.
A collaborative mindset with a passion for IT, a willingness to support others, and the potential to grow into a mentoring role, combined with the ability to find pragmatic and innovative solutions that deliver business value.

An academic degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent professional experience.
Strong object-oriented programming skills.
Several years of proven experience as a full-stack developer, with expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, Docker, Open Shift, Jenkins, Elasticsearch, Rabbit MQ, Git, Oracle, and Postgre SQL. Experience with front-end technologies such as Java Script, Type Script, Angular, or Ng Rx is a strong advantage.
Knowledge of hexagonal architecture, Kafka, API gateways, microservices architecture, and Dev Ops practices is considered a strong plus.
Fluent in written and spoken English.
