Microsoft 365 Engineer
in our plant in Ovar.
The Yazaki EMEA Microsoft 365 Engineer supports the administration, configuration, and ongoing operation of Microsoft 365 services across Yazaki’s Europe, Middle East, and África region.
This role, working under the guidance of the M365 Architect and enterprise standards, focuses on day to day platform operations, implementation of approved designs, and regional support.
The role is hands on and operational, focused on incident resolution, service stability, change execution, and cross team coordination. It requires regular interaction with cross-regional IT resources, as well as participation in structured operational and change forums.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Regional Microsoft 365 Operations:
Act as regional technical point of contact for Microsoft 365, including Exchange Online (mail flow, shared mailboxes, connectors, transport rules), Exchange On-Premises (legacy Exchange coexistence, SMTP), Microsoft Teams (user issues, meetings, policies, room systems, telephony), and Share Point Online & One Drive (access, permissions, sharing issues)
Handle escalations from regional support teams.
Coordinate incident resolution with global service owners when issues extend beyond regional scope.
Identity & Access Support
Troubleshoot MFA issues
Compliance & Data Protection (Execution)
Follow established GDPR and data handling guidelines.
Gather evidence and configuration details for audit preparation.
Perform pre-approved content searches.
Ensure compliance with security policies and data protection regulations
Use Power Shell and approved scripts to perform bulk administrative tasks and to generate operational reports.
Contribute ideas for process improvement and automation
Maintain documentation for regional M365 processes and configurations
Regional & Global Collaboration
Work closely with M365 Architect and peer M365 engineer, enterprise platform teams, and regional IT support.
Participate in regional rollouts, pilots, and change activities.
Provide regional impact assessments and operational input into global changes.
Communicate clearly across multiple countries and time zones
Change Execution & Governance
Execute approved Microsoft 365 changes following change control and CAB processes.
Validate regional readiness for global changes and deployments.
Document incidents, changes and lessons learned for auditability and continuity
Candidate’s Profile
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent practical experience) - Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Experience 3-5 years of experience administering/supporting M365 in an enterprise environment.
Experience 3-5 years : Exchange Online, Teams, Share Point Online, One Drive.
Experience 3-5 years: Microsoft Entra ID user and group management.
Experience 3-5 years: Working in a multinational IT environment.
MFA and Conditional Access - Basic understanding of MFA and Conditional Access in M365
Data Protection and GDPR Principles - Basic understanding of data protection and GDPR capabilities in M365.
Power Shell - Working knowledge of Power Shell for diagnostic and administrative tasks.
ITIL - Familiarity with ITIL-based processes.
Exchange Hybrid - Administrative experience with legacy Exchange hybrid / coexistence with EXO.
Power Shell - Power Shell script creation for M365 administration.
Service Now - Familiarity with the Service Now platform.
