Innovation Manager - Construction Sector (m/f/x) | Hybrid - Cascais, Lisbon - Eng, Cascais

We are hiring an Innovation Manager - Construction Sector to join the Portuguese operations of an internationalconstruction group. This role is central to the creation of an Innovation
Department in Portugal, following the success of the German team, and will
be responsible for implementing circular economy practices , embedding
sustainability into engineering and architectural projects, and driving
efficiency and cost reduction.

Core
Responsibilities Analyze ongoing and future projects, identifying strengths and weaknesses;

Develop and maintain a ranking of recommended vs. non-recommended materials;

Replace toxic or non-reusable materials with sustainable alternatives;

Design and model new sustainable construction processes;

Collaborate with engineering, architecture, and expansion departments;

Represent the company at trade fairs and innovation events;

Act as an internal ambassador, fostering organizational and cultural change.

Required /
Preferred Qualifications Degree in Engineering or related field (preferred but not mandatory);

Strong motivation or early experience in sustainability and innovation in construction ;
Fluency in Portuguese and English (Spanish is an advantage).

Reporting

Works in close alignment with the Innovation Department in Germany;
