Role Overview
We are looking for a SQL Database Administrator (DBA) to join a leading insurance company, recognised as the second largest in the national market and the top brand in insurer reputation in Portugal, with over 150 years of history. This role will involve managing and optimising SQL Server databases in a hybrid work model based in Lisbon.
What you will do
Administer, monitor and optimise SQL Server databases;
Ensure data integrity, security and availability;
Implement backup and recovery policies;
Perform performance tuning and troubleshooting;
Support development teams in creating and maintaining queries and stored procedures;
Contribute to the definition of database architectures and strategies.
What you are like
Experienced in SQL Server database administration;
Proficient in query optimisation and performance tuning;
Strong knowledge of security, backup and recovery practices;
Skilled in analysing and solving complex problems;
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
