Ferring+You

You will design and build modern data pipelines to feed our Azure-based data lake using Databricks on Azure. You will analyze diverse data sources to define integration strategies and collaborate with system architects to select appropriate tools and frameworks to enhance our data architecture.

Your day at Ferring

• Design and deliver data pipelines using Azure Databricks and support resources like ADF and ADLS.


• Develop and evolve data models and schemas to support self-service needs.


• Communicate with end users and data owners to gather requirements.


• Troubleshoot existing jobs and propose improvements.


• Implement platform and process improvements.


• Provide application support and maintenance following SLAs, internal standards, and ITIL framework.


• Ensure tasks comply with security and quality standards.

Behind our innovation…There’s you

• University degree in Computer Science or equivalent IT background (Master’s preferred).


• 5-7 years’ experience as a data engineer with Python and SQL.


• Minimum 2 years’ experience with Azure Cloud, Databricks, and Azure Data Factory.


• Experience with APIs (minimum 2 years).


• Proficiency in building data pipelines/ETL and understanding design principles.


• Hands-on experience with Azure Dev Ops, YAML, and infrastructure-as-code workflows.


• Experience with Databricks Unity Catalog for data governance.


• Proficiency with Git and collaborative workflows.


• Experience with Agile practices and tools like Jira; certifications are a plus.


• Knowledge of data encryption, data quality tools, and data modeling best practices.


• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with end users.
