As Senior Software Engineer, you will:
Develop new functionalities for our software on all commonly used platforms using C++ Design the architecture of new features and components Optimize and enhance our software with new, efficient algorithms and modern software technologies Work independently on solutions for specified requirements and be responsible yourself for complying with time and quality specifications Ensure that our software is stable and runs efficiently on many systems Monitor the latest technical developments in your field and make proposals for improvement Mentor and coach junior developers in your team Qualifications
University or college degree in the field of information technology or a related subject or relevant work experience 5+ years of professional experience in the field of software development Experience with distributed and scalable systems Solid knowledge of any back-end programming language Understanding of Clean Code and Design Patterns for object-orientated programming Experience in any of the following fields would be desirable: parallel programming, SQL, No SQL, test automation, network communications Knowledge of C++ is a plus Experience with boost and other open-source libraries A positive and solution-oriented mindset Structured and analytical way of thinking / working, being a team player, as well as motivated to learn new things Fluency in English is mandatory, further languages such as German are a plus
