Responsibilities:

• Ability to support customers on infrastructure setup in the role of the technical first contact.
• Ability to implement and deploy Mongo DB installations in an Openshift environment.
• Ability to analyze issues in a standardized and automated environment.
• Motivated to keep the standards and avoid customized solutions.
• Collaborate in a virtual and in a dynamic environment speaking mostly in English.
• Ability to translate business demand and requirements into technical solutions.
• Weekend work and on-call required when necessary.

You must have:

• Experience in Mongo DB administration on an Openshift plattform, especially in the following areas: deployment, configuration, upgrades, tuning. Experience with the Mongo DB Ops Manager is beneficial.
• Linux administration experience, including performing hands-on work in the areas networking, hardware, virtualization, containers, scripting, and IO subsystems.
• Knowledge about the standard IT Processes in large companies. e. g. ITIL
• Experience with challenges in a high secure data center.
• Experience with cloud vendors like AWS or Azure
• Experience with containerization platforms like Openshift or Kubernettes.
• Experience in developing scripts to automate frequent tasks (preferably using Ansible, shell-scripting and Python)
• Experience designing systems that deal with large data sets and a huge volume of transactions.
• Experience in architecture and design reviews, performance audits, and database migrations.
• Experience with relational databases like Oracle, Postgre SQL or My SQL.
• European Union Citizenship or Portuguese Working Visa / Portuguese Residency.
• Availability to go to the office, once or twice per week.
