Job Summary The Full Stack Developer will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining secure, scalable, and high-performing applications that support Allia Health's digital ecosystem.
Reporting to the Principal Engineer, this role bridges front-end and back-end development, ensuring seamless integrations, exceptional performance, and intuitive user experiences across platforms.
The ideal candidate will have strong modern engineering skills, thrive in collaborative environments, and be motivated by mission-driven, patient-centered technology.
Key Responsibilities● Design and develop full-stack web applications using React, , and Type Script.● Build and maintain APIs and backend services using Postgre SQL and Google Cloud infrastructure.● Collaborate with Product and UX teams to develop intuitive, responsive, and accessible interfaces.● Implement CI/CD pipelines and automated testing using Git Hub and Google Cloud Build.● Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.● Optimize performance, scalability, reliability, and maintainability across the stack.● Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, architectural discussions, and process improvements.● Contribute to reusable component libraries, documentation, and engineering best practices.
Required Qualifications● Master's degree in software development or a closely related technical field (ideal).● Minimum 3 years of experience in full-stack engineering roles.● Strong proficiency in Java Script/Type Script with experience in React and ● Solid understanding of Postgre SQL or equivalent relational databases.● Experience designing and integrating RESTful APIs.● Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes for containerized deployments.● Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines (Git Hub Actions, Cloud Build, or similar).● Familiarity with Google Cloud infrastructure and cloud-native development.● Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail within production-grade systems.
Preferred Qualifications● Experience with Google Cloud, Looker, Vertex AI, Ui Path, N8 N, React, Postgre SQL, Docker, Kubernetes, and related tools.● AWS experience is welcome; Google Cloud experience is preferred.● Experience contributing to automation, workflow optimization, or cloud-native tooling.
Compensation & Benefits● Salary Range: €50,000–€60,000 / $59,000–$70,000 annually, commensurate with experience.● Benefits include comprehensive medical, dental, and paid time off, along with a supportive work environment and opportunities for professional growth within Allia Health Group.
Physical Requirements● Ability to work onsite in Madeira, remote within Portugal, or remote in a time zone-aligned region.● Flexibility to adjust portions of the workday for overlap with US CST when needed.● Ability to work for extended periods in a digital or computer-based environment.
