Established in 1874, we have grown to become the world leader in mining and civil blasting with a diverse of team of more than 13,000 across the world. It’s an exciting time to join us – we are shaping the future of mining through digital and automated technologies, embracing new ways of thinking, pioneering innovation and reimagining the way we work.About the roleWe are delighted to announce that we are inviting candidate applications for the role of Analyst - Marketing.Based at our Lisbon offices in Portugal, supported by a friendly, helpful and inclusive team, and reporting to the Senior Manager - Marketing, Strategy & Planning, the Analyst - Marketing will provide the EMEA regional business with commodity insights and research to support Orica's strategic decision-making in the areas of asset maintenance and commodity supply. Additionally, the Analyst - Marketing will work closely with the sales and marketing departments in which to both track performance and identify new opportunities for our business.With our embedded Organisational Development team, leadership training, and learning incentives, Orica genuinely support career progression and growth. As such, this opportunity can be viewed as an ideal stepping stone into a career in Marketing and/or Commercial Management.What you will be doing Produce and gather Market analysis and insights for future commodity forecasts; Provide regional demand modelling, competitor intelligence, pricing movements and forecasts; Manage the analysis of Orica EMEA region customer contract portfolio; Provide specialist support in the application and calculation of pricing mechanisms; Manage marketing analysis related projects; Support with internal communication in Orica's EMEA region. What you will bring Strong analytical skills and a strategic acumen supported by sound commercial judgement; Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with a range of stakeholders; Strong written and verbal communication skills Exceptional attention to detail; Qualification or relevant work experience in data and trend analysis (eg. business, engineering) Advanced software skills and capabilities; Foreign language skills (Russian, Spanish, Portuguese or French).
