We are seeking a talented individual to join our Health and Benefits Admin team at Mercer. This role will be based in Lisbon. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
The Health and Benefits Admin team main objectives are related to ensure the operational management with the Insurance Company.
The Insurance Operations Administrator supports the day-to-day administration and delivery of employee benefit and health insurance programs for corporate clients. The role is responsible for processing benefits data and participant changes (such as enrollments and terminations), ensuring data accuracy across systems, supporting billing and reporting activities, and liaising with insurers and internal teams to ensure services are delivered accurately and on time. The administrator also assists with client and participant queries, supports claims-related processes, and helps maintain high service standards by following defined operational procedures and regulatory requirements.
We will count on you to:
Manage international platforms and databases.
Insurance premium adjustments.
Issue insurance policies.
Contact with clients and insurance companies.
Manage insurance inclusions and exclusions.
Manage related administrative tasks.
What you need to have:
At least 1 year of experience working with life and non-life insurance mediation.
English and Portuguese language proficiency.
Insurance mediation training / certification (mandatory).
Good knowledge of Microsoft tools, Power Point and specially Excel.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Have a great solution driven attitude.
