What You'll do:
Manage and maintain
Oracle Linux
and
Debian/Ubuntu
servers in production environments.
Implement and support
IPv4 network configurations ,
filesharing protocols
(NFS/CIFS), and
Linux LVM.
Develop and maintain
automation scripts with Shell and Ansible
for system provisioning and configuration management.
Administer
Foreman
for system lifecycle management.
Manage and troubleshoot
Pacemaker clusters ,
DRBD , and
HAProxy
setups for high availability and redundancy.
Configure and maintain
Apache web servers
and tune
SSH settings
for security and performance.
Apply
system hardening , implement
CVE mitigations , and manage
package installation/updates.
Perform in-depth
troubleshooting
across
OS, application, performance, and network layers.
Administer virtual machines in
Oracle VM (Xen)
and perform operational tasks in
VMware v Center.
Handle
user access ,
permissions ,
filesystem ACLs , and
security configurations.
What You Are:
5+ years of experience
managing and troubleshooting complex Linux infrastructures.
Advanced expertise in
Oracle Linux
and
Debian/Ubuntu , with strong skills in automation and systems administration.
Solid knowledge of
networking (IPv4) , high-availability systems, and
Linux filesystem security (permissions, ACLs).
Proficiency with tools like
Ansible ,
Foreman , and
Pacemaker/DRBD clusters.
A proactive mindset in ensuring security, performance, and reliability of critical systems.
Familiarity with
virtualization technologies , especially
Oracle VM (Xen)
and
VMware v Center , is a strong asset.
A structured, problem-solving approach and a drive for continuous optimization.
