About the Role
Are you a detail-driven Accountant with strong technical expertise and a passion for process improvement? We're looking for a motivated professional to join our Finance team and take an active role in ensuring compliant, efficient, and insightful accounting across our group.
This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and innovative business environment, where you will not only handle accounting and compliance but also play a key role in optimizing processes through Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC).
You will report directly to the Financial Director, working closely with local teams.
What You'll Do
Ensure accurate accounting and compliance with SNC and Portuguese tax regulations.
Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
Prepare statutory financial statements, tax returns (IVA, IRC, IRS), and regulatory reporting.
Act as a key point of contact for external auditors, tax authorities, and stakeholders.
Perform reconciliations, manage accruals, provisions, payroll accounting, and fixed assets.
Maximize the use of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, driving automation and efficiency.
Provide timely financial insights to management, supporting strategic decisions.
Stay up to date on fiscal and regulatory developments to ensure full compliance.
What We're Looking For
Certified Accountant (Contabilista Certificado, registered with OCC is a plus).
Minimum 4 years of professional experience in accounting, preferably in an international or technology-driven company.
Degree in Accounting, Finance, Management, Economics, or related field (Master's degree is a plus).
Strong knowledge of SNC and Portuguese tax framework.
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC).
Advanced Excel skills; Power BI knowledge is a plus.
Analytical mindset, attention to detail, and ability to work under deadlines.
Fluent in Portuguese and English (Spanish is a plus).
